Warrant Traced to Bulacan Court
The traveler turned out to be the subject of an Alias Warrant of Arrest. That warrant came from the Regional Trial Court of Bulacan, Branch 17, in Malolos City.
The charge against him falls under Section 5(e)(2) of Republic Act No. 9262, also known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. This law protects women and children from various forms of abuse, including economic and psychological harm.
How the Arrest Unfolded
