Davao, Philippines – A 51-year-old fugitive was arrested by authorities at the Davao International Airport on June 20, 2026, ending a manhunt linked to two serious criminal cases involving alleged abuse against a minor.
According to the PNP Aviation Security Group (PNP AVSEGROUP), the suspect was apprehended at Landside Parking Bay 1 during a coordinated warrant operation. Authorities had been monitoring the individual over pending cases related to alleged exploitation and harm against a child.
How the Operation Unfolded
The arrest was carried out through a joint effort involving the City Intelligence Group of the Davao City Police Office, Sasa Police Station 4, and PNP AVSEGROUP. Officers successfully located and took the suspect into custody at the airport parking area without incident.
Charges Filed Against the Suspect
Authorities served two separate warrants connected to serious allegations involving a minor. The cases include sexual abuse-related charges under Philippine law, with one charge carrying a recommended bail of ₱120,000, while another has no recommended bail.
The charges will now proceed through the proper legal process, where the accused will have the opportunity to answer the allegations in court.

PNP AVSEGROUP Director PBGEN Dionisio B. Bartolome Jr. emphasized that authorities remain committed to locating and arresting individuals with pending warrants.
