PASAY CITY – A 55-year-old businessman from Quezon City was apprehended at the Domestic Arrival Area of NAIA Terminal 3 on May 6, 2026, following a joint police operation targeting individuals with standing warrants of arrest. The arrest was made in connection with multiple violations of Batas Pambansa Blg. 22 (BP 22), also known as the Bouncing Checks Law.
According to a report from the NAIA Police Station 3 (NPS 3) of the PNP Aviation Security Group (PNP AVSEGROUP), the operation was initiated after receiving information from a complainant who coordinated with Barbosa Police Station 14 of the Manila Police District (MPD). The complainant alerted authorities about the arrival of the accused from Zamboanga.

- Personnel from NPS 3, in collaboration with the Special Operations Unit-Special Reaction Team (SOU-SRT), acted swiftly to verify the report.
- The accused was located at the Domestic Arrival Area of NAIA Terminal 3 and was immediately apprehended.
