43-Year-Old Passenger from Dubai Arrested at NAIA Over VAWC Warrant Case

Pasay City, Philippines –  A male passenger arriving from Dubai was apprehended at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on May 6, 2026, due to an outstanding warrant for alleged violations of Republic Act 9262, also known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.

According to a press release from the Bureau of Immigration (BI), the 43-year-old passenger was flagged during routine checks at the International Arrival Area. Upon confirmation of the warrant, airport authorities immediately coordinated with the NAIA Police Station 3 to verify the case and take swift action.
