General Guidelines
Applicants must be able to secure an appointment on-line via the link http://philembassyriyadh.checkappointments.com/ There are certain exceptions to the said protocol such as if you are:
- A holder of final exit visa or are currently applying for the exit visa
- New-born children up to one-year old
- A Senior Citizen
- Person With Disability
- Pregnant
- An individual who has lost his passport and is in need of a replacement.
Remember that walk-in applicants would not be entertained.
Ensure that your email addresses would be indicated correctly so you would be able to receive the confirmation message.
Each applicant must have only one reservation slot. Should you want to reserve a slot for your child, use the child’s name and other pertinent information, not yours. You can use your personal email address so the confirmation message can get through.
All applicants must be physically present during their appointment. Minor children should also be present and accompanied by a responsible adult as their pictures are also going to be captured.

- Original damaged passport
- Affidavit of Damage of Passport
- Fully accomplished ePassport application form downloadable from the Embassy’s website or from Window 3 of the Consular Section or from the Information Desk at the Embassy lobby.
- Passport payment fee
Requirements for Damaged Passport
Though no online appointment is required, applicants must be able to produce the following documents during their personal appearance:
- Report of lost passport from the Jawazat with English translation
- Affidavit of Lost Passport (SR 100)
- Fully accomplished ePassport application form downloadable from the Embassy’s website or from Window 3 of the Consular Section or from the Information Desk at the Embassy lobby.
- Passport payment fee of SR 360 for Green or MRP Passports or SRP 600 for ePassports plus an additional SR 100 for the affidavit.
Remember that there is a 15-day waiting period before the approval of the application for replacement of the lost passport.
Requirements for Newly Born Applicants for ePassport
Applicants must be able to produce the following documents during their personal appearance:
- Four copies of the Report of Birth available through the Embassy’s website or thru the Consular Section.
- Three copies of the Arabic and English Temporary Birth Certificate as well as other supporting documents such as Notification of Birth from the hospital or clinic where the infant was born.
- Three copies of the PSA-issued Marriage Certificate of the parents duly-authenticated by the DFA if married in the Philippines.
- Three copies of the Authenticated Report of Marriage from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs with English translation if the marriage was performed in the Kingdom.
- Three photocopies of the parents’ passports’ data page
- Fully accomplished ePassport application form downloadable from the Embassy’s website or from Window 3 of the Consular Section or from the Information Desk at the Embassy lobby.
Requirements for Renewal of Philippine Passport for Minor Applicants (17 years and below)
Applicants must be able to produce the following documents during their personal appearance:
- Personal appearance of either parent with the child
- Original passport of the minor
- Original passport of the parents
- Original PSA-issued Birth Certificate of the minor applicant authenticated by the DFA if born in the Philippines.
- Original Report of Birth with seal and signature of the Consul for those born in the Kingdom.
- Original PSA-issued Marriage Certificate of the minor’s parents authenticated by the DFA if married in the Philippines.
- Original Report of Marriage issued by the Philippine Embassy if married in the Kingdom.
Remember as well that the Philippine Embassy will only take cash for payments and will not accept credit cards or debit cards for transactions. Convenient ATM kiosks are located within a 250-meter distance from the Consulate. Make sure that your ePassport payments are completed as if it is not complete the system would not be able to manufacture your passport.
