The new DMW office is currently in a transition stage and systems are being put in place so that the new office will be the one to handle the inquiries through POEA.

What is the Department of Migrant Workers Act?
The Republic Act 11641, also known as the Department of Migrant Workers Act, is a manifestation of how the Philippine government values Filipino migrant workers.
The Department’s duty is to improve the safety of our overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in order to protect them from predatory employers and rogue recruiters.
The DMW office will also assist OFWs and their families who remain behind in basic services. Furthermore, the incoming Administration’s aim is for there to be an OFW Hospital in each state so that the hospitals may be accessible to Filipino Migrant Workers.
