The total settled amount reached ₱981,217.68, covering compensation these workers were entitled to receive during their overseas employment.
According to a statement from OWWA BARMM, the settlements were completed throughout June 2026 as part of the agency’s ongoing work to defend the rights and benefits of migrant workers from the region. OWWA BARMM handled the coordination and facilitation that led to the successful payouts.
What the Claims Covered
Money claims typically arise when OFWs face disputes or unpaid entitlements tied to their jobs abroad. These can include:
