The Automotive Service NC II program prepares students to perform repairs on light and heavy-duty vehicles. It covers both the mechanical and electrical components of the vehicle.

The Automotive Servicing NC II program is supervised and approved by the TESDA. This program can be integrated into various undergraduate courses such as BS in Industrial Education (BSIE) and BS in Industrial Technology (BSIT).

Course Overview: TESDA Automotive Servicing NCII

The Auto Servicing NC II course takes about 676 hours to finish. This will still depend on the school you enrol in and the requirements they will have for you to comply with.

This course will teach you various skills related to the servicing of vehicles. You will also learn how to perform various tasks related to the various components of an automobile.

The Automotive Servicing NC II course is divided into the following modules:

Qualifications

Trainees or students who want to join in this course should have the following credentials to qualify for Automotive Service NC II training:

  • A Filipino citizen
  • Has completed the Alternative Learning System (ALS) equivalent or at least ten years of basic education.
  • Can communicate in basic English either oral and written
  • Physically and mentally fit
  • With good moral character
  • Can perform basic mathematical computation
  • With pleasing personality

Requirements

Aside from the eligibility criteria listed above, anyone can enrol in a TESDA Automotive Service NC II course if they can provide the following requirements:

  • Academic Record (at least a High School Diploma)
  • Good Moral Character Certificate or Honorable Dismissal Certificate
  • ID picture with white background (1×1 or 2×2), for record purposes
  • Medical Certification
  • NBI, Police and Barangay Clearance
  • NC Certification (if needed)
  • PSA Birth Certificate

Step 1: Visit the TESDA training center that is most convenient for you and offers the course you want to take. Make a request for further information about the program. This is the opportunity to raise any questions you may have before starting the program.
