History – Philippine Embassy in Russia

The embassy of the Philippines in Moscow is a representation of the country’s diplomatic mission to Russia. The embassy is located at 6/8 Karmanitskiy Lane and it is standing there since 1978. According to the history of both countries, the Philippines did not immediately establish an embassy when it connected to the Soviet Union. It was until 1978 and the first ambassador was Juan A. Ona. From then on, the countries stayed connected with each other. When the Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991, the embassy of the Philippines was put to cover Russia.
