Filipinos are known for their friendliness, hospitality, perseverance and work ethic, but one thing that outshines all these is their talent, especially when it comes to singing.
Peter Rosalita is only ten, but his vocal prowess has landed him a spot on the top-rated US talent show “America’s Got Talent” season premiere.

Everyone in the crowd, including the judges and host of the show, was surprised when the young Filipino contestant hit the high notes of Celine Dion’s classic, “All By Myself”.
Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all gave him a standing ovation after his performance.
“You have an amazing voice, an amazing personality, an amazing energy,” Cowell said. “Everyone is gonna fall in love with you after this audition.”
To this effect, fellow panelist, Heidi Klum, warned, “Mariah better watch out.”
“I think you are incredible. What do your neighbors say when you rehearse these types of songs?” Heidi asked the Pinoy talent.
And the 10-year-old responded, “They were surprised.”
Peter stated he would buy a Nintendo Switch and a laptop for his online schooling if he won the $1 million grand prize for the talent competition. He’s one step closer to his 10-year-old goals as all four judges voted for him to go through the next round, which everyone in the audience celebrated.
Meanwhile, Howie Mandel said of Peter and his performance: “You’re amazing. You’re so cute even when you talk to us. I predict you will go far in this competition.”
Peter’s performance gave him goosebumps several times, according to Simon.
“That was an incredible audition. There were parts during that audition which literally gave me goosebumps. You have an amazing voice, amazing personality, amazing energy, everyone is gonna fall in love with you after this audition,” Simon commented.
“I think America’s gonna love you,” Sofia noted.
“I think the world’s gonna love him,” Simon added.
Peter received four yeses from the judges, and he will advance to the next round of the event.
His audition video has over 2.8 million views as of this writing.
