Since an NBI Clearance also proves that the bearer has no criminal record, pending illegal cases, or shady background, it is an important document that organizations and employers require, to learn more about whether the person they are dealing with is a good Samaritan and responsible citizen or not. It is also an important document with doubles as an ID when starting an online business or doing bank transactions.

These NBI Clearance centers have different operating hours, depending on their location so we also included their office hours in the list, to help you plan your visit, in case you have to. Just note that most NBI clearance centers are open from Monday- Friday at 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, especially those housed in local government buildings. For the centers housed in shopping malls and duty-free, you may visit anytime between 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM instead.
Note that when applying for an NBI Clearance, half of the process requires you to go online via the NBI online system to fill out forms, choose a branch, and schedule an appointment. Once you visit on your preferred appointment date, the staff will then check your requirements, and after verification, your biometrics, digital signature, and photo will be taken.
Generally, the clearance will be released immediately after these processes, but in certain cases, when you get a “HIT” or you are unlucky enough to have a namesake with shady records, you will need to wait up to 14 days, to come back to the branch and claim your NBI Clearance.
