According to De Vries, these vaccinators’ salary ranges from 1,800 to 2,500 SGD or a minimum of PHP63,000, the PNA reported. Filipinos who wish to apply for the job, however, will have to wait a little longer because the government has banned foreign employees’ entry, notably from high-risk countries affected by the coronavirus illness 2019 (Covid-19). According to the labor official, the new policy was implemented in response to the resurgence of Covid-19 cases in communities. As of the latest directive, only visitors from Australia, Brunei, Mainland China, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau are permitted to enter the island-nation. “Because of the reemergence of community cases, the Singaporean government has restricted the entry of foreign workers from high-risk countries,” De Vries added. As the government continuously watches the local and global scenario, he is optimistic that the host country would issue a new policy next month.
