Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who are returning to the country for good can now apply for technical-vocational (tech-voc) courses offered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) upon arrival at international airports in the country.
This is made possible through the OFW Help Desks set up by TESDA at various international airports all over the country, such as the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and the Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
OFWs Can Apply for TESDA’s Tech-Voc Courses Upon Arrival at PHL Airports
Upon arrival at the airport, OFWs can check out the courses offered by TESDA through the OFW Help Desks. Once they’ve decided on a course that suits their interests and skill sets, they will be referred for skills training. Also, OFWs can renew their National Certificate (NC) and Certificate of Competency (CoC) at the help desks.
